Welcome to Delft / The Hague!
About the Workshop
Since its first edition in 2000, the primary objective of the Wind & Solar Integration Workshop (then “International Workshop on Feasibility of HVDC Transmission Networks for Offshore Wind Farms”) has been to stimulate interdisciplinary thinking between industry and academia by providing a platform for discussion and for sharing ideas and knowledge regarding the key issues in the field of large-scale integration of renewable energies.
From 2011 to 2021, the Wind Integration Workshop has been conducted back to back with the Solar & Storage Integration Workshop. In 2022, the two Workshops merged to the Wind & Solar Integration Workshop (with Special Topics Sector Coupling & Storage) to take into account the many possible synergies and to meet the wishes of the participants.
The workshop will be held together with the 6th E-Mobility Power System Integration Symposium and the 1st Hydrogen Power System Integration Symposium as part of the Renewable Energy Grid Integration Week from 10-14 October in Delft / The Hague.
Topics of the Workshop
Due to the current rapid development in this field, the topic of hydrogen will be be more strongly represented at the Wind & Solar Integration Workshop. For this reason, some hydrogen topics are proposed for the Call for Papers 2022. A separate event is also dedicated to this topic: the 1st Hydrogen Power System Integration Symposium that features presentations by invited speakers.
New Topics:
Fuel Cell Modelling/Fuel Cell Systems Modelling
Electrolyzer Modelling
Hydrogen Systems Modelling
Renewable Hydrogen Technologies and Applications
Decarbonization of transport with green hydrogen
Decarbonizing the industrial processes
Energy system management with hydrogen
