We welcome you
to the 24th Wind & Solar Integration Workshop in Berlin, Germany. Engage with industry and academic experts at the Scandic Marina Congress Center for insightful discussions from 07–10 October 2025.
Presentations & Contributions at the Workshop
The contributions at the Workshop are mainly based on a Call for Papers, supported by invited presentations.
- The official Call for Papers will starts on 12 December 2024
- Subscribe to our Newsletter and stay updated!
- You will also get free access to the videos of the Keynote and Closing Sessions of the 2024 Workshop
About the Workshop
Since its first edition in 2000, the primary objective of the Wind & Solar Integration Workshop (then “International Workshop on Feasibility of HVDC Transmission Networks for Offshore Wind Farms”) has been to stimulate interdisciplinary thinking between industry and academia by providing a platform for discussion and for sharing ideas and knowledge regarding the key issues in the field of large-scale grid integration of renewable energies.
The workshop will be held back to back with the 9th E-Mobility Power System Integration Symposium (06-07 October 2025) as part of the Renewable Energy Grid Integration Week.
Topics of the Workshop
Due to the current rapid development in hydrogen solutions and the numerous papers that were presented under this topic at the 2024 Wind & Solar Integration Workshop, the topic of hydrogen will play an important part again at the 2025 Wind & Solar Integration Workshop. For this reason, some hydrogen topics are proposed for the Call for Papers again.
New Topics:
- Electrolyzer Modelling for Power System Studies
- Fuel Cell Modelling/Fuel Cell Systems Modelling
- Hydrogen Systems/Plant Modelling
- Renewable Hydrogen Technologies and Applications
- Energy System Management/Modelling with Hydrogen
- Power System Balancing with Hydrogen-Based Solutions
- Ancillary Services Provided by Hydrogen Systems
- Hydrogen Energy Market Dynamics and Regulatory Framework
- Decarbonization of transport with green hydrogen
- Decarbonization of Industrial Processes Using Hydrogen
