We welcome you
to the 23rd Wind & Solar Integration Workshop in Helsinki, Finland. Engage with industry and academic experts at the Scandic Marina Congress Center for insightful discussions from 08–11 October 2024.
Presentations & Contributions at the Workshop
The contributions at the Workshop are mainly based on a Call for Papers, supported by invited presentations.
- The official Call for Papers has been closed.
- Registration is now open and preliminary agenda has been released!
About the Workshop
Since its first edition in 2000, the primary objective of the Wind & Solar Integration Workshop (then “International Workshop on Feasibility of HVDC Transmission Networks for Offshore Wind Farms”) has been to stimulate interdisciplinary thinking between industry and academia by providing a platform for discussion and for sharing ideas and knowledge regarding the key issues in the field of large-scale grid integration of renewable energies.
The workshop will be held together with the 8th E-Mobility Power System Integration Symposium as part of the Renewable Energy Grid Integration Week on 07-08 October 2024.
Topics of the Workshop
Due to the current rapid development in this field and the numerous papers that were presented under this topic at the 2023 Wind & Solar Integration Workshop, the topic of hydrogen will play an important part again at this year’s Wind & Solar Integration Workshop. For this reason, some hydrogen topics are proposed for the Call for Papers 2024.
New Topics:
Fuel Cell Modelling/Fuel Cell Systems Modelling
Electrolyzer Modelling
Hydrogen Systems Modelling
Renewable Hydrogen Technologies and Applications
Decarbonization of transport with green hydrogen
Decarbonizing the industrial processes
Energy system management with hydrogen
