Wind Dinner

Come and join colleagues, friends and workshop organizers on Wednesday, 16 November 2016.

To pay a visit to a “Heuriger” wine tavern is part of everyday-life in Vienna, people go there a lot oftener than they go to a sporting event or to the theatre. That’s why we offer you an insight into this experience and take you to the tavern “Fuhrgassl-Huber”, located between vineyards and Wienerwald, for this year’s Wind Dinner.

The evening will start with a punch and chestnut reception, later on we move into the cosy “Stadl” where you may taste traditional Austrian hearty and sweet dishes from the buffet* and, of course, wines from the own vineyards (beer and soft drinks also available).

The price for the wind dinner is 96,- Euros incl. 20% VAT. To register online, click here.

As the number of seats for the dinner is limited, tickets are available on a first come, first served basis.


All participants of the Wind Dinner will get transportation by bus between the conference hotel and the restaurant.

How to get there

Workshop participants not using the shuttle bus and will therefore arrive individually can either take a taxi or public transport:

Bus 35A to stop Neustift am Walde departing from:

U6 station Nussdorfer Straße OR U4 station Spittelau OR S45 station Krottenbachstraße OR tram 38 station Gatterburggasse

A regular one-way ticket for Vienna public transport is at 2,20 €, online-day ticket 5,50 €.

Please do not forget to bring your dinner voucher which will be handed to you during the workshop registration.

The winners will be notified by 10 November 2016. The prize cannot be redeemed in cash but winners will receive a refund of their dinner ticket if already booked and paid for. All decisions are final and binding in all respects and not subject to legal recourse.
