Grid Integration Week
For a detailed schedule of the Grid Integration Week see our program overview.
9th Solar & Storage Integration Workshop
This one-and-a-half day Solar & Storage Integration Workshop will be held for the nineth time, again in conjunction with the International Workshop on Large-scale Integration of Wind Power into Power Systems as well as on Transmission Networks for Offshore Wind Power Plants, and the International E-Mobility Power System Integration Symposium.
The Solar & Storage Integration Workshop brings together utilities, PV/CSP system developers and project developers, power systems operators and other professionals to exchange knowledge and ideas, as well as experiences in matters relating to the integration of solar energy and storage into the power systems. Speakers from companies and leading institutes are invited to present at the workshop, as well as workshop participants.

3rd E-Mobility Power System Integration Symposium
The purpose of the E-Mobility Power System Integration Symposium is to discuss the challenges that arise with increased power demand due to electric vehicle charging, and how they can be met by coordinating with renewable power production in the electrical system (hence the combination with the Solar & Wind Integration Workshop). The selection of topics also highlights the need for integrating the required electric vehicle charging infrastructure with the expansion of the distribution and transmission system.
The Symposium offers a prime opportunity to discuss the significant future impact of E-Mobility on power system design and operation. It aims to bring together experts on electric vehicles, charging infrastructure, power system operators, and stakeholders of the renewable energy industry as well as power system regulators and universities.

4th International Hybrid Power Systems Workshop
Crete, Greece | 22 – 23 May 2019
The main objective of the 4th International Hybrid Power Systems Workshop is to discuss the challenges that arise in isolated and islanded power systems and micro-grids and how they can be efficiently met by deploying a combination of wind, solar, battery and diesel technologies. Finding viable combinations of conventional and renewable energy is one key solution for the efficient and sustainable running of these types of power systems. International experts will convene for the 4th International Hybrid Power Systems Workshop to share their project experiences and to detect areas in need of improvement.
As an island grid with a large share of renewable energy, Crete is perfectly suited to grant a unique insight into the operation of an isolated power system, which makes Tenerife the ideal host for the 4th International Hybrid Power Systems Workshop.
