Study Trip to Roskilde

Take part in the Wind & Solar Excursion Day to Roskilde / DTU Risø Campus with a focus on wind research and test facilities such as SysLab, Materials Lab and the Poul La Cour Windtunnel.

The DTU Risø Campus is located on the peninsula Risø in Roskilde Fjord 7 km north of the historic town of Roskilde and 40 km west of Copenhagen.

The study trip is not included in the regular registration fee but has to be booked separately. Number of tickets are limited, first come first serve.

The participation fee includes transportation during the study trip.
Departure times from the following locations:

• 08:45 Zleep Hotel Lyngby, Lundtoftegårdsvej 12, 2800 Kongens Lyngby
• 08:55 DTU Meeting Centre, Anker Engelsunds Vej, Building 101, 2800 Kongens Lyngby
• 09:05 Scandic Eremitage Hotel, Klampenborgvej 230, 2800 Kongens Lyngby
• 09:30 Gentofte Hotel, Gentoftegade 29, 2820 Copenhagen
• Arrival 10:00 at DTU Risø Campus

Please make sure that you are in the lobby of the hotel 10min before the scheduled departure.

You will be picked up by a host so please look out for a person with a sign “TRANSFER STUDY TRIP TO ROSKILDE / DTU CAMPUS RISØ”.

You will be driven back to the hotels mentioned above.

In addition, the bus will also serve Copenhagen railway station (arrival approx. 15:45) and Copenhagen Kastrup airport (arrival approx. 16:15). Therefore, you can take your luggage with you on the study trip and leave it in a separate room on campus. Please note, however, that no liability can be accepted for this and that the room cannot be locked.
