Travelling to Copenhagen

Copenhagen is the capital and most populous city of Denmark. There are international rail connections from/to Sweden and Germany to the railway station “Hovedbanegård”, southwest of the city centre.

If a journey by plane is unavoidable, Copenhagen can be reached by direct flight from very many international destinations. Scandinavia’s largest airport CPH is located in Kastrup on the island of Amager and is connected to the city center by metro and main line railway services.

The venue of the 22nd Wind & Solar Integration Workshop will be the Meeting Centre of the Technical University of Denmark, located on the Lyngby campus north of Copenhagen near the town of Lyngby:

Several busses cross or pass the campus area. Lyngby Station is just 2 km away with bus connection such as:

• Bus 300S to Anker Engelunds Vej (Lundtoftegårdsvej)
• Bus 40E to Rævehøjvej, DTU (Lundtoftegårdsvej)

Connections from Copenhagen city center also lead via the station Nørreport St. (Nørre Voldgade). From there, there are various bus connections such as:

• Bus 150S to Rævehøjvej, DTU (Helsingørmotorvejen)
