Field Trip

Also this year's workshop will include a field trip during which we will visit a wind farm control centre.

On May 28, 2008, you will have the opportunity to see two different control centres:

1. The control centre of REE - Red Eléctrica (CECOEL) with the Centro de Control para Régimen Especial (CECRE).

2. The Operation Centre for Renewable Energies - CORE of Iberdrola in Toledo.

In addition, we will visit the wind farm of Villacañas near Toledo.

The Field Trip is now fully booked, but there is a waiting list for interested participants. The Field Trip is not included in the registration fee and should be booked separately (the number of participants is limited). Note that we will not be back in Madrid city before 18:00 and that this could affect your decision regarding return flights and hotel room reservations. The field trip charge is 70,00 €.
