Venue

The venue for the 8th International Workshop on Large-Scale Integration of Wind Power into Power Systems as well as on Transmission Networks for Offshore Wind Farms will be Maritim Congress Centrum Bremen.

The city of Bremen is located in the north of Germany, about 120 km southwest of Hamburg.
Bremen can be reached by plane, railway, coach, car or ship. Bremen airport (BRE) is a destination of Ryanair and Lufthansa, among others.

... from the airport

By tram
The Maritim Bremen can be reached from Bremen Airport by tram no. 6 which stops directly infront of the main railway station and the `ZOB´ (central coach station). At peak times the tram runs every 10 minutes. A single ticket costs € 1.95. The journey to the main railway station / central coach station takes about 17 minutes.

By taxi
A taxi to the Maritim Bremen to the airport costs about € 10. It takes approx. 20 minutes, depending on traffic.
