Field Trip

Also this year's workshop will include a field trip. The field trip will take place on October 16, 2009:

Field trip 1 (fully booked)

Visit of the HVDC Light converter station for the BorWin1 project combined with a visit to the wind turbine manufacturer Enercon.

Field trip 2 (fully booked)

Visit of the HVDC Light converter station for the BorWin1 project combined with a visit to Bard-Engineering in Emden. Bard-Engineering is the company behind the Bard 1 Offshore wind project (400 MW at the end of 2010) using the Bard 5 MW wind turbine.

18.00 Bus returns to Bremen (Stop at Bremen Airport at around 18:00)

The number of participants will be limited. Please register for the field trip together with the workshop. The registration fee for the field trip is 85 Euro.
