Siemens Wind turbine factory, Brande

On October 27, 2011 you will have the opportunity to tour the Siemens Wind turbine factory in the Danish town of Brande.

The charge for the Field Trip is not included in the registration fee and should be booked separately (the number of participants is limited).

The field trip charge is 60,00 € each.

Please pay attention to the fact that the visit of the Siemens Wind turbine factory is subject to strict security rules. Siemens will not allows any cameras, mobile phones or photographic and video equipment during the visit. If only one of the tour participants violates this rule, Siemens will discontinue the visit immediately. In this case there will be no refund for the fieldtrip!

 

Energinet.dk invites to a construction day

October 28, 2011, Field trip B

August 1st 2012 the grid connection for the Anholt offshore Windfarm must be in operation. During the field trip you will experience two different types of substations under construction:
- The first indoor 220 kV station in Denmark where the power from the Anholt windfarm is send into the national transmission grid at 400 kV station Trige north of Aarhus
- Bladt Industries in Aalborg are constructing the 2500 ton offshore transformer platform that will collect the power from the wind turbines and send the power ashore.

On both locations it will be possible to walk the construction site in respect of safety limitations.

The charge for the field trip is not included in the registration fee and should be booked separately (the number of participants is limited).
The field trip charge is 90,00 € each.

09:00 - 10.30 Substation Trige - containing both 150 kV and 400 kV substations and the new GIS 220 kV substation for Anholt offshore windfarm
10:30 - 12:00 Bus transportation inclusive lunch packet and video
12:00 - 13:30 Bladt Insustries at Aalborg - a steel contractor specialised in manufacturing large complex steel structures. The platform for Anholt offshore windfarm is under construction and it will be possible to walk on parts of the platform
13:30 - 15:30 Bus transportation back to Aarhus
14:00 stop at the Airport of Aalborg (connections both to Copenhagen and internationally)
